First print sold at Studio 73 in only 24 hours of being there! Another unicorn gone off to a new home to spread some Bad Ass magic. :)
In the meantime I have acquired a gas leak, a spare oven in my living room and lost all heating and hot water - fail. I'm rocking the slightly grubby three jumper and 2 scarf look. Best keep drawing anteaters to stop my fingers from going blue.

Prints now on sale at Studio 73 in Brixton market.
Dropped my prints off at Studio 73 today just in time for Christmas! Everything apart from the bear and the crows are there if anyone's curious.

and if that's not a good enough reason to get down to Brixton Market, then Mama Lan's dumplings totally should be - They are AMAZING!
Phoar tasty! These are the beef and spring onion ones. They come in fives but I couldn't resist scoffing one before I took the photo.

Christmas Market
Thanks to everyone who came by the Christmas market on Saturday! Great seeing my prints going off to new homes and chatting to people about my work. Met some great new makers and bakers on the day too.
Kate Mossing up the market mannequin.
Leonie Flower's lovely screen printed cushions and tote bags. http://leonieflower.com/
My stall was next to a large pile of extremely tempting delights by cake of dreams. Definitely worth checking out if you're in need of any birthday/wedding cakes or yummy things. www.cakeofdreams.co.uk
facebook.com/cakeofdreams The edible glitter was particularly amazing!
One of her amazing wedding cakes.
The genius part of selling prints - the whole stall fits in a bag and a trundly. Selling my vases before was at least a three man and taxi job.

Christmas Stall!
Christmas stall all set up for tomorrow! Drop by if you're in the area! Loads of great Christmas goodies to check out. Just down the side of Whole Foods off Stoke Newington Church Street.
Prepping for Christmas Stall
Totally underestimated the time needed for packaging prints and setting up Christmas stall. Kinda forgot about the faffy cutting down the cardboard bit -oops.
Pretty swish card rack.
Also bought a totally unnecessary basket.

An evening with Mr Fox (Printing the Fox.)
Printed the fox this evening. Got to the studio at 5, left at 10:30 home by 11.
I keep doing this - putting ink on the screen when your still surrounded by choas is not a good idea.
Also notice scarface - screen sratch above his eye. Ink printed through without any issue though.
Colour blend - orange to red
Yellow eyes added.
Black was bit tricky to print, turned out a pretty mean looking thunder cloud.
Black transformed cute fluffy colour blend layer to one cross looking fox.
Final print.

Midnight foxes.
Came home after day of printing final Wee Bird colours with a head full of foxes, specifically a cluster of foxes. Whipped up the fastest dinner that I know how to cook that doesn't come out of a plastic container and got busy with a pencil.
At this point I realised I was too tired to produce any more foxes and these too looked a bit awkward together. I decided to bin the slightly more boring one and stuck it in the spare fox box.
Started playing around with halftone for the first time.
2:30am - At this point I stopped and crawled into bed, about to turn the light off I realised lines were upside down and fox needs gradient.
Woke up late, tried fox with blue and then black and blue .
and then decided to stick with black.
Final composition - 3 layers with 1 colour blend.

Printing green and brown Wee Bird colourways
Went down to Rye for my Mum's birthday weekend. Had a lot of fun stomping around on chilly beaches picking up lots of Flotsam and Jetsam. Gave myself a rash picking up one particularly funky piece next to the nuclear power station. Will update with few pics once I can get my photo's back. Had to borrow a camera after my phone came to a creaking data halt complaining about having to store my 5,200 photos.
Back to Studio on Monday. Screens had been put away for me which was super helpful, but had unfortunately been paint bombed at some point during the weekend with massive gold splodges all over one of them. That's one way to remember to never leave your screen out. Wasted 2 hours blasting the gold off and re exposing only to find couple of long scratches across the mesh too. Don't know what had happened while I was away but my screen has been through the wars. Real bugger as it was my nice new screen that got hit not my pigeon shadowing one.
Green Wee bird body down. Got a bit carried away with the green and didn't leave many sheets for Brown Wee bird - bit of a shame as the brown came out better than I'd thought it would.
Black layer down, slightly fiddly registration but all came good in the end.
Finito!
